Is The SmartCup Safe to use?
The SmartCup is completely safe to use. There is an intake fan on the bottom and an
outlet fan which disperses any heat out and away from your cupholder.
The metal heating/cooling pad within the device can reach temperatures ranging
from 140F - 1220F. The metal pad is generally out of reach, but be sure to not touch it
while it is in operation as it could be very hot/cold to the touch.
Will It Damage My car?
No, the SmartCup has been tested on many makes and models of car. It is designed to
be a universal fit in any generic cup holder. The outlet fan is designed to push hot air
out and away from your cars cup holder to prevent any damages.
The SmartCup also comes with a small stand to elevate the intake fan.
How Long Does it take to cool/Heat?
SmartCup device can reach temperatures ranging from 140F - 1220F. The device is able
to reach these temperatures in 3-5 minutes depending on outside conditions.
How do I plug in the SmartCup?
The SmartCup comes with a 12V plug that can be plugged into any generic auxiliary
power outlet. The plug is then connected to the SmartCup in a discrete fashion as to
hide the cables well.
